I introduce myself: my name is Lella and I live in Bormio since many years...
Here's my story: I first fell in love with Bormio, then with a local guy . When I was living in Milan, I could not wait to get back to Bormio, immerse myself in the hot Bormio Spa springs, ski on the Stelvio slope, walk in the woods, walk the trails by bike. Then one day I said: I want this to be FOREVER!
So the transformation happened: from tourist, I became “local” myself. And as years passed by, after life blessed me with three children and three grandchildren, I decided to share the passion for these mountains with people coming from all over Italy, from all over the world, and restructure these beautiful apartments – almost 300 years old - in Bormio historic center.

Baita Skianta has a strategic location: 5 minutes walk from ski slopes and 5-minute walk from Bormio Terme. There's a free public bus stop just near that can conveniently take you across town. The apartment is located close to the 0.00 km where historical Stelvio pass road starts, if you love cycling you can start climbing right as you get out of the house. Above all, Baita Skianta is at the heart of the ancient center of Bormio. You step out the house and you have the best of Bormio restaurants; have a drink at pub Skianta and many other typical places and when you’re done discovering the hidden beauties of Bormio, you can enjoy the silence and tranquility of our apartment. Nearby you can find the Parish Church, St. Ignatius Church, the museum, pharmacy, greengrocers, butcher shop, poultry shop, historical dairy, shoemaker, bar, pizzeria, the shopping street ... just about everything!
The house - full of history and carefully restored - is rich in atmosphere and emotions. Guests often talk about our apartments when they go back home; they share their positive impressions and experience with their friends, maybe that's why we often host friends of friends of friends! ...
